THE AREA
Tombeboeuf , in the Lot et Garonne region, is within easy reach of Bergarac (35 minutes' drive), Bordeaux (1 hour), and the Dordogne (Beynac is approximately 80 minutes' drive). The surrounding towns and villages host regular markets and night markets (an amazing opportunity to sample local dishes - and wine - at
inexpensive prices) which are well worth experiencing.
